Course Notes
Just west of the A12 between Colchester and
Ipswich using the B1068.
Tight, flat left-handed course which suits front-runners and
those of
doubtful stamina. Sandy soil usually provides decent ground early
in the
season. The construction of a reservoir next to the course in
1999 should allow
thorough watering for the spring meetings, decreasing the
likelihood of
firm ground.
